Tampa Bay Startup Week had an awesome first day, but it was only one in five! And now we’re on to day two. We hope you’re still in love with us this Valentine’s Day because we don’t plan on stopping showing you the love. Here’s a look ahead at some of the awesomest events we’ve got going on today.
At around the same time that Mentor Hours start, Miles Metschke, Track Captain for the Big Data and Connected Devices Track powered by Sourcetoad, is going to give an Introduction to the Internet of Things. With devices like Google Home and Alexa, the Internet of Things isn’t just the future, it’s right now! This event will give you an important head start with the things that will power our daily lives.
After lunch, our friends at Chase for Business have gathered together a panel of experts that will teach you how to be Bootstrapped without being Strapped – presented by Chase for Business. Learn about cash flow, where to get money, how much to expect and all the money questions you ever had but were afraid to ask. Who better to learn it from than a panel of experts from a bank?
At 3:00 pm, Corey Riehle will be available thanks to Chase for Business for free professional headshots. This can go on your LinkedIn profile, your resume, your social media profiles, or wherever you want to make a good impression. (Dating profile? It is Valentine’s Day, after all!)
At 5:00 pm, Symphonic Distribution will be hosting a Speed Mentoring session for all your questions about branding and design. A bevy of professionals will give you all their knowledge and all you have to do is sit and ask questions.
Finally, at 7:00 pm, our Marquee Event, So You Want Your Startup in the News, will gather media professionals from across the Tampa Bay area to tell you exactly what you need to do to get your startup’s name out there.
