Toni is the Campus Director of the only (and best!) code school in Tampa Bay, The Iron Yard. She was born in South Carolina, raised in Virginia, and lives in Florida, where she learned to love the southeast, sunny weather, and chihuahuas. After receiving her MBA at the University of Tampa, she began to share the impact of how technology can help nonprofit organizations touch more people. Realizing the need for talented developers, she crossed paths with The Iron Yard who shares many of her same values. Her passion is people and she believes technology can help people achieve better results, quicker. She is excited about the Tampa Bay tech scene and looks forward to collaborating with the community to develop amazing developers who want to make awesome things.
Toni has arranged some great events for both beginners and experts who want to learn more about computer coding and get into the developing business. These events include Ruby for the Newbie, Hour of Code, and Intro to html/css.
