Kunal is a self-made global entrepreneur, an ardent champion of startups, and a philanthropist. He is the founder and President of Practiceforces, a Healthcare Integration Consulting company based out of Clearwater, Florida. He has over fifteen years of experience in U.S. healthcare practice administration and revenue cycle management.
Drawing on his entrepreneurial success in the U.S. as well as his understanding of the Indian economy, in the year 2000, Kunal launched ‘Elite Offshore Resources’ an India based offshore health care billing company catering to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) needs of healthcare Management Services Organizations (MSOs) in the U.S. Driven by an inherent desire for knowledge and creative thinking, Kunal also holds a degree in ‘Global Healthcare Innovation’ from Harvard Business School, and a Masters in Entrepreneurship from University of South Florida. Not satisfied with personal success alone, Kunal is on a mission to help other aspiring entrepreneurs through the Tie Tampa Bay Angel Fund. He has curated the TiE Tamp Bay, a not-for-profit organization, tax-exempt under Section 501(c) (6), since 2013 with the aim of fostering entrepreneurship in Florida. He has helped many start-ups in the United States and India through mentoring, networking and investments.
Kunal has developed a unique, courageous model of startup funding where most stakeholders are rewarded with an excellent rate of return on their angel investments, while also increasing valuations of the companies involved. When not managing his businesses, mentoring entrepreneurs, or nurturing his philanthropic initiatives, Kunal is traveling the world meeting people and creating opportunities.
