This is it. It’s time to shut it down. It’s been a fantastic week, but all good things must come to an end. But before we pack everything up, let’s take a short look back on what happened today.
We woke up to a delicious breakfast by Bake’n Babes! They set up a make-your-own parfait bar with granola, yogurt, berries of every kind, bananas and a host of other goodies.
But then it was time to innovate with Michelle Royal, the CEO of RIDG. Her “Wake Up and Innovate Breakfast” gave us the tools we needed to accelerate our startups.
Then there was a founder panel where a collection of Tampa Bay’s greatest founders got together and demystified technology in startups.
Some technology gurus then got together and taught us the great benefit to your startup of learning to code. When you learn to code, you can pretty much go anywhere.
Later in the day, there was a panel about how diversity and inclusion can improve your bottom line. You knew it was the right thing to do, but it’s also profitable!
Then there was a movie! CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap is a documentary about… well, just like the title says; figuring out the gender gap and trying to navigate through all the issues that affect it.
But the event of the night was definitely the Finale Party powered by the City of St. Petersburg! If you weren’t there, here’s what you missed:
Thanks to everyone for a fantastic week! We hope you’ve learned a lot and will go home and blowup your startup! We’ll see you next year!
